The zone is home to a wide variety of fauna, including sloth bears, elephants, sambar deer, wild boars, and occasional tigers. Its mix of dense forest and open scrubland offers good visibility for wildlife spotting and photography.
Located approximately 20 km from Ramnagar, Jhirna is ideal for half-day safari plans and is suitable for families, bird watchers, and those visiting during the off-season when other zones may be closed.
